We are moving from a familiar global order to a more complex multipolar environment. What will this mean for international companies, especially internationally scaling businesses? In this online seminar, Professor Paulo Vicente Alves of FDC (Fundação Dom Cabral), Brazil, and Dr Vanessa Bretas of the University of Galway will explore how shifting geopolitical dynamics are reshaping global business.

The session will open with a macro overview of emerging powers and historical cycles, before focusing on real?world business implications, including techno?nationalism, restrictions on talent mobility and the evolving balance between global cooperation and conflict. Participants will be invited to discuss strategic approaches for operating in an increasingly uncertain global landscape.
