In a forthcoming book chapter, Nicole Coviello, Marian Jones and Patricia McDougall-Covin assess the IE literature (1989-2012) relative to the criteria proposed by Hambrick and Chen’s (2008: 32) to explain the rise of new academic fields as part of an “admittance-seeking social movement.”
