Dear ie-Scholars members,
2021 was an eventful year for ie-Scholars as we completed a major site re-design and technical updates. We’ve had some positive feedback from our members which is wonderful. Thanks go to our team at the Center for Advancing Global Business (CAGB) at San Diego State University who led the redesign.
Our community has grown, passing the 750 members and 60 countries mark! The readership of our biweekly newsletter remains high (if not higher) than last year. One reason for that is the great content for which I would like to thank our contributing members.
I would like to welcome to two new IE-Ambassadors — Dr. Meena Chavan from the Macquarie Business School in Australia and Dr. Md Imtiaz Mostafiz from Sheffield Business School in UK. Meena will be our eyes and ears in Australia and Imtiaz in Bangladesh and South East Asia. They both bring regional expertise, connections and, most of all, enthusiasm and energy to our community.
ie-Scholars now boasts a group of 20 IE Ambassadors covering key regions around the world. We are still looking for additional Ambassadors to cover more regions in Latin America, Africa and East Asia. If you are located or know of anyone who could represent these regions and/or would like to know more about the IE Ambassador position, please write to me at mmusteen@sdsu.edu.
