Call for Book Chapters: A Research Agenda for International Entrepreneurship

Co-editors Christian Felzensztein (Clarkson University, USA) and Sascha Fuerst (EGADE Business School, Tec de Monterrey, Mexico) invite scholars from around the world to contribute with chapters for a new book titled “A Research Agenda for International Entrepreneurship” (Edward Elgar Publishing, UK). The book will be of high interest for graduate students, scholars and practitioners in the broad and multidisciplinary field of international entrepreneurship.

Chapters need to focus on contemporary issues for the international entrepreneurship (IE) research agenda in the post-pandemic economy, including:

  • Sustainability entrepreneurship in the context of internationalization;
  • Digital entrepreneurship, Bio-Tech and new technologies for rapid internationalization;
  • The role of business models and scaling for entrepreneurial internationalization;
  • International entrepreneurship in emerging markets;
  • Contextual influences on entrepreneurial internationalization;
  • Other new issues affecting entrepreneurial internationalization.

Diverse methodologies, perspectives, and geographical areas are welcome. Each chapter is expected to have a special emphasis on the practical implications of IE in their contexts and globally, as well as setting up a new agenda for international entrepreneurship research.

Funding for data collection (about US$500 to US$1,000) for some selected authors in emerging economies and/or younger scholars, may be provided upon request -in the submitted proposal- to the David Reh Family Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurial Leadership at Clarkson University.

Deadline for Submission of Chapter Proposals (5 pages): March 15, 2022

Deadline for Submission of Complete Chapters (1st review) (5,000 and 9,000 words): September 1, 2022

Submission of complete chapters (2nd review): November 15, 2022

Edward Elgar Publishing will promote this book to a wider audience globally. It is expected that graduate students, practitioners and scholars in diverse markets will adopt this book.
