The 28th McGill International Entrepreneurship Conference was held at LUT University in Lappeenranta, Finland, from August 15-17, 2024. The event, organized by LUT Business School and co-chaired by Olli Kuivalainen and Maria Uzhegova, brought together IE Scholars under the conference theme, “International entrepreneurship in a world driven by digitalization and sustainability.“
More than 90 scholars discussing and presenting 70 submissions participated in the conference, which featured keynote addresses by Professors Peter Buckley and David Audretsch, an industry panel, methods workshops, and an ie-Scholars’ doctoral colloquium. The conference was capped off by a conference dinner cruising along Lake Saimaa. A few photos from the event are below (a courtesy of IE Ambassador Lasse Torkkeli).
